Audible Audities is a group of four emcees that formed around 1998 in Boulder, Colorado. The group consists of TopiQ(producer/emcee/engineer), Sarasvati(femcee/comedian), Sloppy Joe(emcee/violin/graphic artist),The Rascal(emcee/graphic artist), GaDJet (DJ/producer/engineer),whom which TopiQ met in music school in 2003, and extended AA Family members such as the aggressive Dialect (emcee), hailing from Cincinnati, OH. AA tends to lean towards the light-hearted side of hip hop but still manages to touch on important social and political issues, however, are by no means restricted to one particular style. Taking distinct influence from groups like Jurassic 5 and A Tribe Called Quest, Audible Audities maintains a consistently live feel on studio recordings that are often reminiscent of the Old School era of hip hop, and their amazing chemistry onstage with the addition of LIVE VIOLIN guaruntee a great live show!
