A Trophy Life

A Trophy Life IS ON HIATUS! We Love you, well, we loved you. However, after three solid years of full-time touring independently in Canada, alas, we crumpled under the weight of the crippling debt and stress. Fail. Now we just like you, but in time we may learn to love again. There is a A Trophy Life new record that is finished, and as soon as we can afford to pay for it it will be out and in your hands, along with a remixed and mastered and basically entirely re-done version of The "Go On Tour" demos. The release date is currently set for May 1st, 2011.

OLD BIO:

A Trophy Life is quickly proving themselves as one of Canadaís hardest working unsigned bands; and their fan base continues to grow tour after tour because of it. Their fun-obsessed way of living began the momentum that has kept them in full swing for the last two years of making music and taking names. With only their hearts and songs to call their own, Shawn Kilgrain, Cody Beer, Harrison Bourdon, Joshua McDaniel and Tim Bolton have chosen a life on the road and intend to ride it until the wheels fall off. A Trophy Life: A heart wrenchingly tongue-in-cheek power-pop soundtrack to your busted-ass life.



Since 2007, A Trophy Life has spent more time touring writing and recording than they have at home, setting out across Western and Central Canada seven times as well as a trip around the Maritimes. Other highlights include a Western United States tour in early 2009, playing 150+ shows and selling over 2,200 records at shows alone in their first year-and-a-half on the road.
