Ashes of Soma is a rock band. That's obvious. Who is Ashes of Soma you say? Bios are always blah blah, we've done this, or blah blah, played with them, but i'm sure you'd rather know the real AOS instead of some hyped up paragraph about how we'll blow your mind. Ashes consists of Randy Gray, Mike Preney, Joel Bishop, and Paul Doman. We all reside in Windsor, Ontario, possibly the highest unemployment rate in Canada at the moment. Here are some facts about the band that you may not know.
1. We are unsigned.
2. Our new album will hopefully be out sometime, we are still looking for a label(refer to 1.)
3. Our channel of choice in hotels is Discovery Channel.
4. Our van and trailer are for sale(we're not quitting, we're upgrading)
5. Some of us in the band are binge drinkers.
6. We all play NHL '09, the game of choice.
7. We need Tim Hortons in the morning, Dunkin Donuts in the U.S.(unless theres a Tim Hortons within 30 miles.
8. We enjoy arguing.
9. The current score between Joel and Randy in chess is 31-18 respectively. (as of July 10/09)
10. The Pool Room in Toledo is the BEST!
11. Music currently listenting too while driving: Clint Lowery, Nural, Papa Roach, Hurt
12. There are 2 others involved in Ashes of Soma, they are Muff, and The Swiss
13. Muff and The Swiss combined compare to other duos such as Hardcastle and McCormick, Luke and Bo, and Daisy and Duke
14. If there is one thing members of Ashes of Soma are good at, it is "flying off handles".
