The Ministry of ASG began about 6 years ago in Baltimore, Md. As a

secular hip hop producer, Kevin Johnson(ASG) was called out by God and

sent on his mission to reach the streets and lead them into worship and

praises to the Lord(in a different way). After redeticating his life to

Christ on a Wed. Night in December of 1999 in bible study at then "Rock"

and now "Restoring Life" International Church," under the teaching of

Dr. June Robinson, ASG along with his family decided to become members

and today, Kevin(ASG) and his wife Terry serve faithfully in "THE YOUTH

ZONE" of Restoring life.



In 2000, ASG's debut single "FOCUS" was named the number one song for

2000 on Heaven 600's "Praise Cafe" and today its still in Rotation.

ASG's ministry has been exposed in countless venues up and down the east

coast, such as:

Praise Fest (heav 600 am)

Rap Fest 00/02 (Bronx NY)

Baltimore Ravens Outreach ministries

Performed along side Tye Tribbet and GA



Just to name a few. Also numerous church and

Outreach events.



ASG is married to his wife Terry for nine awesome years and they have a

wonderful family. He believes inThe in order of putting GOD first, THEN

family, THEN ministry. His wife Terry stands along side him. As so a

Proverbs woman does.



ASG's gift of Christian rap, is geared to the young and the young at

heart, BUT, His heart

is to the streets, the broken, the broken hearted and those kids that's

been "X'ed" out.

"I grew up in poverty. I used to cut class, I hung in the clubs, smoked

weed, drank, BUT was still CALLED." "I know there is someone out there,

like I used to be or even in a worse state.""They are the ones that

needs to be reached." "The ones that can't get with a Hymn."



That's just tid-bit of the ministry. ASG live is a supercharged, high

energy event. Off stage he's down to earth and quite laidback. He

dosen't consider himself as a star, but as A SON.
