Ascension

Born in the city of Los Angeles, California- home to faceless corporations, rampant social propaganda, and enough dirt and smog to give the whole world cancer 20 times over, ASCENSION was envisioned by Caleb Bingham upon his departure from his previous band FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH.
His goal was simple: to team the influence of bands he had grown up with, his affinity towards classical music, and a punk rock attitude, outlook and lyrical standpoint into something unique and unprecedented.
The result: The Behind Enemy Lines E.P., which was engineered by Bingham himself at the infamous Sunset Sound Studios (VAN HALEN, LED ZEPPELIN), produced by Eyal Levi (DAATH) and mixed at Audio Hammer Studios by Mark Lewis (THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, CHIMAIRA).
Its message: Our entire world populous is living with blinders on, unbeknownst to the war being waged against us by the people in charge. We are all living Behind Enemy Lines, for we are their enemy. Turn off the television. Get off the internet. We must arm ourselves with knowledge and free thought and destroy all among us that stand in the way of the forward march of humanity. Our very existence is at stake. This is a call to arms!
