Jun Miyake and Arto Lindsay - "Alviverde" (Stolen From Strangers) - Video
PUBLISHED:  Mar 19, 2009
DESCRIPTION:
This is the opening track of the amazing album "Stolen From Strangers" by Jun Miyake. Vocals by Arto Lindsay, another great musician.

"Alviverde" means "white and green", and these lyrics are in Portuguese. They're pretty much meaningless, by the way, so don't worry too much about them.

I'm posting this mostly to promote the album and the guy. I recently discovered Miyake's work because of his amazing score for "Stink Bomb", the second animated short movie in the three-part "Memories", an excellent Japanese production. Awesome film, you should check it out too.

I'm not gonna post the rest of the album, but if you liked this one, you should probably check it out for yourself. It's available on lots of places.

The instrumental version of this song is called "Lillies in the Valley".

Cheers!
