Army of Angry Youth

Born in April 2003 we started and keep on playing fast and youthfull hardcore, influenced by 80' & 90' U.S. hardcore bands.

We come from La Spezia, better known as Las Pezia, a coastal town in the North of Italy, one hour driving from Genova.

Before gathering in Army of Angry Youth we all played in different local hardcore, punk rock, emo bands and we crossed our ways in H.C. sound.

In September 2004 we recorded a five songs demo tape and in March 2005 we were back in recording studio to record 12 songs that are part of our first full lenght album "Army of Angry Youth s.t." out in September 2005 from Green Records, an indie label from Padova.



In June 2007 Manuel left the band because of a really intense new working activity in offshore platforms all over Mediterrenean sea. Marino got the mic and after a hot summer spent playing in our studio we were back ready to sing and shout and sweat again.



After a winter testing the new line up over North Italian stages the band was back again in recording studio (Mofo recording studio - Piacenza - March 2008). Thanks to the work and, above all, the passion of five indie italian labels (Green Records; Padova - Il Complotto Autoproduzioni; Torino - The Mescaleros Crew; La Spezia - Produzioni Agricole; La Spezia - Piccole Speranze; Perugia), that constantly believe in D.I.Y. and in anonymous punk rock bands, Army of Angry Youth's second full lenght album was eventually out in November 2008. 10 songs CD which is titled "Nobody Moves Nobody Get Hurt". Now we are really looking forward to promote it everywhere is possible. Keep rockin'.
