Amongst the wave of artists who proclaim to be different and unique, stands one who has actually convinced people that he truly is. Erick is heavily influenced by several genres of music, ranging from Hip-Hop, Alternative, Jazz, & Electronic, often stating that there is always something to learn from something you’d normally skip on your iPod.
Erick has always admired lyricism, but also stresses that strong songwriting is just as important as the poetic side of making good music as well. He uses vintage synthesizers and gritty drums to craft some of his latest work, admitting that the sounds of the past are a bit closer to the soul for him. Not only does Erick create his own beats, he also doubles as a graphic designer, where he is able to create his own imagery to represent his words.
