At seven I sang my first solo in church and shortly after wrote my first song that consisted of one chorus. It has taken many years of performance experience, some music education, and a lot of writing and recording experiences to be able to adequately interpret and convey the emotion and spirit I feel into in a song. And, maybe write more than one chorus. * I laugh *

The last ten years of my life have flown. After college, marriage, motherhood, divorce, the school of life and re-shaping a dream into something of service and love rather than fame and stage lights, I am embracing change. It is the only constant. My first album, Just A Little Country is a very emotional album. I look back and see the pain, tears and anger that album demonstrates and I am proud of it because it shows the beginnings of finding my way and my strength as an individual and as an artist.
I've had some great experiences traveling the East Coast performing, performing with my band in the north Georgia and Atlanta clubs, and doing shows with songwriters such as Bruce Burch and Mike Dekyl since 2006. This past July I had the opportunity to open with a group of songwriters for Shawn Mullins. I think one of the best parts in the music biz is meeting and working with all these talented people.
I give all the credit to God for the passion and musical abilities I've been given. And, now that I'm getting older, I realize it's so much bigger than me and I want to use music as a positive force to help and for change. Performing for John Jarrard Concert and helping to raise money for such local causes at Good News at noon, helping out with 500 songs for kids and singing at local nursing homes are a few of the great things I've gotten involved in the past few years. Being a blessing is what it's all about.
Currently, I have a new band together and am in the studio working on my next project. I am enjoying the journey.
