the metropolitan tea rooms beckon.
Having supped, it's on to the Ladies' Pond for a dawn bathe before the nuns arrive.
Warm car waiting, we amble on
and splinter in the daylight.
Sometimes the sun really feels like a star.
That light-
You know the type.
Stylus-sharp.
Back to soft rooms where
gentle chat greases the fade.
These are the things to do
