Hailing from Southern New Jersey, Anthony Renzulli is a singer, guitarist, drummer, and songwriter. He is the Rhythm Guitarist for the rock band, Soraia and the founder of the Anthony Renzulli Band. AR started performing solo in 2002 and the full AR Band has been together since 2004. The Anthony Renzulli Band has created quite a buzz in the music scene having features in various magazines and recently landing a spot on 93.3 WMMR's Local Shots Vol. 5 CD. In 2009, ARB performed a live concert for Comcast On Demand that aired on Comcast for 6 straight weeks. In early 2010, the AR Band was featured on Channel 6 Action News (ABC) and was broadcasted all throughout The Delaware Valley. In 2012, AR's musical journey took a surprising twist when ZouZou Mansour (lead vocalist of Soraia) called Anthony and invited him for a tryout in Soraia.

Anthony's first instrument of choice was the guitar but it was the sound of the drum that grabbed his attention a little stronger. After teaching himself the basics of playing the drums, he began playing along to his father's old record collection. Anthony adds, "I didn't have a band or a teacher when I was a kid so I taught myself by playing along with Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Cream, and Buddy Rich albums that belonged to my father." In 1998 and still in high school, Anthony took first place in the all South Jersey Jazz Competition and became one of the youngest in IAJE Region III history to achieve at that level. Anthony continued to mold his craft by joining and participating in every band his school had to offer. By his junior year in High School you could find him drumming in Concert, Jazz, Fusion and Marching Band. Anthony's High School music teacher comments, "Anthony always surrounded himself with experienced players and teachers. Most of the year he would skip lunch just to play the drums for a half hour. Not many teens do that.especially today. I would always question why he would spend a lot of time in the guitar room also. Little did I know he was working on his second and possibly his most important craft.the guitar."
In 2002, Anthony started performing solo in numerous clubs and venues all over. Anthony performed in NYC, Philadelphia, Trenton and Delaware in just the first year. While he was not performing he practically lived in any recording studio he can get his hands on. Anthony produces all of his songs and is the drummer on all of his music.
On September 7, 2004, the AR Band performed their first show (as a full band) at Grape Street Philadelphia. They quickly jumped in the studio to record their first ever (ep) and has been at it full force ever since. In 2007, the AR Band headlined a show outside the Wachovia Arena in Philadelphia. In the same year they also performed headlining dates at The Trocadero Theatre and two shows at the TLA. AR Band has been receiving positive feedback from fans all over the world, currently having 189,000+ fans on MySpace (without the help of a record label). In December 2008, "Pass Me By" was featured on 93.3 WMMR's Jaxon's Local Shots Vol. 5 CD. On March 8, 2009, AR and the boys performed for a live concert for Comcast OnDemand at The Trocadero Balcony. It was available on Comcast OnDemand for 6 weeks straight and still pops up on occasion. Throughout 2009, the Anthony Renzulli Band kept as busy as possible. They wrapped up the year by making their first cameo appearance in the hit web series "Rock Hero".

On January 20, 2012, Anthony received a surprising phone call from Soraia lead vocalist ZouZou Mansour and was invited to tryout for the band as their rhythm guitarist. AR and Soraia have been close friends in the original music circuit going back to 2005. Some nights you could see AR Band and Soraia hanging and performing in local NJ clubs such as The Cherrywood and The Pirate's Den. Soraia is preparing the final stages of a major record release and fast forwarding to the present, it is safe to say everything is going very well.
