Anna Waronker

Los Angeles based singer, songwriter, and composer Anna Waronker has been writing and recording original music since 1994; initially as the frontwoman and songwriter for the seminal pop/punk band That Dog and currently as a solo artist. Her debut album, Anna by Anna Waronker, was called a “knock-out punch” by Rolling Stone and was equally lauded by fans. Recently, she collaborated with sister-in-law Charlotte Caffey on the award winning Lovelace: A Rock Musical. Her new album, California Fade, is a bold departure for Waronker, characterized by stunning arrangements, candid lyrics, and appearances by Pat Smear, Josh Klinghoffer, Joey Waronker, Smokey Hormel, Steven McDonald, and Tanya Haden. California Fade will be available through Five Foot Two Records this February 2011.
