From an early age Angel has been in the music industry, performing songs with her sisters and mother. Doing competitions all across the countryBut it wasn't until the girls known then as (CLEOPATRA AND THE ATTRACTIONS) Performed at a local talent contest in1994 which they won, And that's when the story begins.Cross the Spice Girls with The jackson five and you get Cleopatra, a teen trio from Manchester, England, composed of three of the Higgins sisters - oldest sibling Zainam, third child Yonah, and second-oldest Cleo, who in addition to lending the group its name also assumed lead vocal duties, but they composed there albums together.The offspring of session singer Christine Higgins, the trio was inspired by everything from gospel to trip-hop to classic soul. After winning a local talent contest, they were signed to a management contract, then spent six years performing around the U.K. before being signed to the British division of Warner Bros. Records in early 1997. They released two top five singles, 'Cleopatra's Theme" and "Life Ain't Easy," followed by their Top 20 debut album Comin' Atcha! in the spring of 1998. The album then spun off two more British chart singles, a Top Five cover of the Jackson 5's 'I Want You Back" and the Top 20 "A Touch of Love." In the U.S., the group was picked up by Madonna's Maverick label.Cleopatra's Theme" reached the pop Top 40 as well as the R&B charts, and "Life Ain't Easy" also made both charts, while Comin' Atcha the album stormed into the charts. With their mother and their youngest sister Terri, the group launched its own comedy/variety show on British television, which was a ratings success. Their second album, Steppin' Out, was released in August 2000. The trio also became spokes wemen for cosmetic company COVER GIRL. Strutting their stuff on their ad campagin in the USA, Becoming even more succsesfull. The girls then decided it was time to do solo projects . and went their separate was in the industry. Since then the girls have been recording their solo material, and starting family's of their own. Cleopatra recently performed on the hit TV show BABY ONE MORE TIME, For ITV. But now its time to see and hear angel show the world what she's made of, with hip hop ,soulful beats and lyrics coming from the heart, with an ear catching voice nothing can stop her now. Shes sexy, sassy, talented and full of attitudeso watch out Angels comin atcha!



I am known to most as Zainam from Cleopatra, Aka Angel solo artist.i could go on but that would be tackyanyhoo, I was a member of the band Cleopatra back in 1998 with my sisters. Aww we were so cute. He he, We are all working on seperate projects,Includeing my babysisters band Blackpearlz, Currentlly recording with my group Hot Ice, hopefully i can get some of that stuff uploaded soon. Anyways thats me for now.
