I was born and raised in Bolton, England - a rainy town in the north west. I play a red J200, I like cowboy boots, Cath Kidston, tea, scented candles, fairy lights, notebooks, beer, everything about autumn, all things coastal, trains, road trips and maps.
I spent July 2007 in Nashville recording my debut album, Stood Under Stars. The tracks on my player are taken from there. I had the honour and privilege of playing with some fine musicians including Al Perkins - pedal and lap steel, dobro, banjo extraordinaire.
