Hailing from the increasingly fertile musical hub that is Glasgow, Scotland - Anavris are a four piece rock outfit with a flamboyant and complex sound.



With the emphasis on dynamics, melody AND muscle, they are quickly developing a reputation as an intriguing new proposition. With serpentine guitar lines, compelling lyrics and a colourful musical palette they offer up something truly exciting. Indeed the band are totally focused on forging their own path in the musical wilderness.



“What we see as inspiration doesn't come from who's on the front cover of every magazine that week,” laughs frontman Chris Alexander, “It’s the fearless bands that are out there, touring and relentlessly working hard to produce albums/live shows with substance.

With every band member contributing vocals and lyrics Anavris are a unified collective.
