Amy is a songwriter, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and producer originally from Northern California and now living in Brooklyn, NY. She's been fortunate to share in making all kinds of music on stages ranging from The Fillmore in San Francisco, CA to Irving Plaza in New York, NY to the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland.
She's had the pleasure of opening up for a diverse group of artists including Grammy Award-winning country crooners The Zac Brown Band, rapper Wale and singer/Roc Nation artist Bridget Kelly. She's also toured with the band DeLeon, hitting the road with gypsy punks Gogol Bordello, latin/hip-hop band Ozomatli & Chali 2na, Phish bassist Mike Gordon and Brazilian tropicália legends Os Mutantes. In 2008 she received 3rd prize at the Shure/Montreux International Jazz Vocal Competition. She'll be joining Os Mutantes on keyboards and vocals for their 2012 North American tour.
When not on the road, Amy works as a producer and songwriter in NYC. She has written music for the Yoplait, Tokyo Disney Resort and Tapout brands, and has contributed her keyboard skills to countless other pieces of music for television & adverising. She also works closely with noted composer/saxophonist Anthony Braxton and served as Assistant Producer on the recording of his opera "Trillium E" in 2010.
