What’s up, my name’s Amsterdam. I’m one third of a group called TOP SHELF. Middle is my main wingman and partner in rhyme, while super-producer Cheddy handles the beats.

My new solo album is called The Good Hurt and I’m real proud of it. I released a solo album along with producer Terminill in 2006 called Terminology, then The Cool Table project (along with fellow emcee Abolish) You Can’t Sit Here in 2007. Both are solid albums and a good foundation for where I was able to take my sound in 2008. The TOP SHELF album will be a truly different experience, one that we hope to share with the world on a larger scale.



We’ve shared the stage and toured with some true hip-hop legends, including E-40, Twista, Tech-N9ne, Andre Nickatina, Sweatshop Union, Blue Scholars, Cunninlynguists, Living Legends, Moka Only (formerly of Swollen Members), Myka Nyne, Cool Nutz & DJ Chill, Grayskul, Braille, Sleep, Josh Martinez, Illmaculate, Sandpeople, Stepcousins (Macklemore & Xperience), Animal Farm, Timeline & more.
