"Tout ici bas s'avère voué à la destruction.", Ampools ne dérogera pas à cette règle. Après de magnifiques années de rock'n roll, les emplois du temps de chacun et le manque de motivation font que nous ne sommes plus en mesure de poursuivre cette formidable aventure qui aura duré une dizaine d'année, mais nous ne sommes cependant pas prêts d'oublier de sitôt toutes les joies que nous auront apporté l'existence du groupe.
Un énorme merci du fond du coeur à tout ceux qui nous ont aidé de près ou de loin à vivre cette expérience hors du commun, tous les organisateurs/groupes/personnes croisées sur la route, vous savez très certainement qui vous êtes, en tout cas, nous oui.
Vous pourrez nous retrouver dans divers projets, Antoine officie à la guitare dans le groupe emo-rock Sorry for yesterday, Victouf tient sa basse dans les groupes de power-pop Slide on Venus et This year's girl, Joe passe ses journées à faire de la musique à l'école et Onito joue de la guitare dans un projet stoner/rock nommé The man man machine.
Et puisqu'on ne pouvait pas partir sans une dernière fête, nous donnerons un ultime concert le 23 janvier 2010 pour les 10 ans du label Impure Muzik, au Passagers du Zinc à Besançon, avec un line-up de folie: Gantz (reformation!), Kargal (Reformation!), Asidefromaday, Hiro, Farewell, Who needs maps, The man man machine.
On espère vous y voir pour une dernière danse entre amis.

"Everything is doomed to destruction", Ampools too. We have been living so many amazing adventures, but we can't do it anymore for geographical reasons and a lack of motivation.
We want to send all our love and gratefulness to all those who have been involved over a little bit more than a decade of existence, how would we forget the happiness you gave us? If you don't know who you are be sure that we do.
We don't stop playing music, Antoine plays the guitar in the next emo-rock music sensation, Sorry for yesterday, Victouf plays the bass in the power-pop bands Slide on Venus and This year's girl, Joe studies music in Paris and Onito plays the guitar in a stoner/rock project named The man man machine.
We couldn't say goodbye without a last dance, so we are going to have a farewell show in our hometown, Besançon on 23rd January 2010 to also celebrate the 10th anniversary of our label record, Impure Muzik. The line-up is insane: Gantz (reunion show), Kargal (reunion show!), Asidefromaday, Hiro, Farewell, Who needs maps, The man man machine.
