Growing up near East LA, Amira was always feeling what was bumpin in the streets yet was also an admirer and student of divas such as Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston as well as the musical legend, Stevie Wonder. From an early age, Amira gravitated toward her “musical connection,” as she describes it. Amira’s mixed ethnic background of Lebanese and Armenian gives her the advantage of diving into a small pool of artists who can also sing in other languages. Her rich background also gives her the liberty to introduce a sound and image to the world that is global in texture yet unmistakably American.



Lyrically, Amira seeks to simply evoke an emotion. Whether it is as a labor of love or a voice for the freak within, Amira searches for an angle within a song that is unique in the way it is presented and heard.



For the past two years, Amira has been honing her performance skills at various showcase venues and coffeehouses around LA most notably BB Kings nightclub in Universal City Walk and Viejas Casino in San Diego. As a skilled dancer, she can bring a stage to life with unabashed energy and sensual routines.



Amira is a star on the horizon who is steadily gaining momentum as she shoots toward her goal of capturing the musical soul of the world.
