American Bloomers

American Bloomers is the union of three singer/songwriters: Jaime Wyatt, Jane Sheldon and Jonathan Sheldon. Their voices blend seamlessly over jangling acoustic guitars and Stonesy electric riffs. The music is crafted in the fashion of Lennon/McCartney, with songs that echo of love, heartbreak and heart-wake.



Like a canyon wind blowing toward the ocean, American Bloomers sweep onto the music scene with a majestic blend of harmonies, rock & roll rhythm, and memorable melodies and lyrics. This gathering of three musicians(Jaime Wyatt, Jane Sheldon, Jonathan Sheldon) form American Bloomers and they are soon to release their first album.
Jaime Wyatt and Jonathan Sheldon met at the premier of flick, The Astronaut Farmer (the Polish Brothers), “I remember I had snuck away from the after-party and was enjoying my whiskey, when Jonathan approached me and asked what I was drinking. I replied, ‘my brand, Jameson’; he perked up and remarked, ‘How rock n roll,’ says Wyatt of the two’s first introduction. “We talked about music and found we shared many influences and favorite bands. Jonathan mentioned that he and his sister had been writing songs in the vein of Fleetwood Mac, with a third member in mind.”
“I had listened to a lot of singers, but couldn’t find anyone that totally blew my mind,” says Jonathan. “When Jane and I first played with Jaime, we looked at each other, nodded, knowing we had found the missing link."
