I have just been co-writing and recording with talented producer Alexis Farshi who has composed music for many worldwide adverts and has recorded with Snoop Dogg. I have experience of working in the music industry in L.A. having worked at top recording studio 'Glenwood Place', and have also worked with various high profile US based producers/engineers such as Kennie Takeshi (grammy winner for mixing knarls barclay crazy), Michael Ross top engineer/producer (Pussycat Dolls, Christina Aguilera, Eric Clapton, Keith Richards) in L.A. I have had 3 songs chart in at the semi final position for the UK songwriting contest and have signed publishing contracts for my tracks, 'Suitcase Kid' and 'Bully' in the US and another publishing contract for my tracks, 'Addict', 'Lost in a Lie' and 'My Secret Enemy' with a publisher in London.
I have achieved a National Diploma in Performing and Composing at Reading College and have graduated from the Academy of Contemporary Music, which is Europe's leading school for Rock and Pop musicians, where i studied vocals.
I am also a vocal tutor having started teaching in London, but am now teaching currently teaching vocals privately and at various schools and stage schools in my local area of Bournemouth in contemporary and musical theatre alongside my writing, please see www.amelia-vocalcoach.com for more infoI have also been on the judging panel for South Coast Idol with Tim Noble (Kylie Minogue's choreographer) and Talent Call for the past 2 years.
I have also gained experience of the industry through work experience at Beggars Banquet Record Label.
I have worked with various producers in the UK and US, recording at Running Frog Studios with Producer Neil Thom, Matt Walters at Quince Studios and also in L.A with 7th Level Productions - producer James Lugo and Brian Yakulsa (Enrique Iglesias, Brian Wilson, Silverchair, The Veronica's) Thomas Johansson, (Wheatus, Coolio, All Saints) via SBM Management and had my tracks mastered by Steve Rooke at Abbey Road Studios.

I have been in many bands since the age of 15 when I started writing and recording having started gigging in and around my local area and also one the acoustic circuit having performed at venues in and around London, such as West One Four, West Kensington. Also The Blag Club, Notting Hill, Bullet Bar, Monkey Chews Camden to name a few.
I have received various write ups in local papers for promoting bands and organising band nights at venues
I am currently focussing on songwriting for film/tv and vocal coaching.
