Amber

A project called Adiccion was made by 4 people from Venezuela.

Juan Cardenas (lead guitar), Jose Landa (bass), Luis Batista (drums), Juan Lattuf (vocals, guitar).

This band was born in 1999 and it has been on a break for a period of 3 years,

because Juan (vocals/guitars) had to leave to The United States,

followed by Jose (bass) too. This project was stand by,

but it has been always alive.



Late 2003 Jose Landa & Juan Lattuf decided to start this project again,

but this time with a new drummer, Felix Ovalle, who played a big roll of making the band reunite.

This new project had new influences and a lot more matture than it was before musicly wise.

In the other hand, Juan Cardenas (lead guitar) just came to the country in late May and started again with the band.



On Augut 27, 2004, We decided to change the name of the band from

Adiccion to Amber to give a new image & indentedy to the band



Why Amber?

Amber is the blood of tree, that gets solid and strong as a rock after it comes out of it.

In a certain way this is what happened with each band member, staring with the first two band members leaving to USA; Adiccion's tree has been bleeding for the last years, but now it's solid & is the dream of each member of the band.
