According to National Geographic, there are 27 million slaves in the world today - more than at any other time in history. It's hard to believe, but it's true.



We're creating a movement of students who are committed to ending slavery. If you're in Middle School, High School, or College, please continue to check out the resources and info on this page.



YOU can be an abolitionist.



An abolitionist is someone who's committed to ending slavery. By contributing even a small portion of your time to The Amazing Change Campaign, you can bring awareness to the issue of modern day slavery and help us secure the resources to fight slavery around the world.



Here are three steps YOU can take to becoming a modern day abolitionist:



1) Sign The Amazing Change Petition by Clicking Here.



Since May of 2006, The Amazing Change has traveled to 26 cities across the US gathering 30,000 signatures for this petition. However our work is far from finished. By February 2007, we need to collect 360,000 more signatures to reach our target of 390,000; the same number amassed by Wilberforce.



These petitions will be presented to the governments of The United States and Britain, and will let our elected officials know that we care about the issue of modern day slavery and want something to be done about it!



2) Encourage your friends to sign the petition by posting Amazing Change Banners into your Myspace Profile.
