The Amanda Waggener Band

HI YA'LL!!!! : ) My name is Amanda Waggener and I am a struggling singer/songwriter, if you haven't figured that out yet! I have been singing since I began to talk. Singing music and writing music is "The LOVE of my LIFE!" Nothing will replace it nor take it away from me. I started my own band at age 17 and things got pretty serious and it lasted nearly 4 years. We played at least 400 different venues throughout the Michigan and Ohio area and actually had some intrests from BIG record companies, but like most girls I fell IN LOVE with the WRONG guy, the "guitar player" uh oh. I will never do that again because it eventually ruined everything and hurt like hell. Though I have had my share of ups and downs in this music business I have yet to lose my faith in what I love the most! I will continue to search for that VERY SPECIAL BAND that is somewhere out there waiting for me. What would that band be like?? It is the kind of band that gives you an out of body experience and makes you feel more alive then you've ever felt before. One that gives you chills throughout your body. One that is grounded and free of big heads and incorporated with musicians who live, breathe, and love what that do and that is why they do it. Money.that doesn't concern me much it's the feeling I get when I am singing with an amazing group of people and musicians. If I don't make it BIG, oh well, as long as I can sing forever I am happy!!! : ) I thank my LUCKY STARS for EVERY musician I have had the opprotunity to jam with and for all of the people who have never lost faith in me and who have loved and supported me from the begining!! To name a few musicians I am thankful for.Denny Richards (Bass) you have been my back bone so many times and I love you SO MUCH thank you for believing in me! Brian Schram one of the BEST guitarists I know, I hope he keeps his head straight and I wish him the best of luck! John Hefty (Bass) crazy old man who I love dearly, he taught me much of what I know today! There are too many to name but there is one very special DRUMMER I would like to thank, Mike Dunbar thank you for all your help!!!
