Alyssa Wheelon
Born in 1988, on the 23rd of May, Alyssa Wheelon is a passionate young singer-songwriter from Vancouver, Washington who sees and shares her world through music while carrying with her a maturity that reaches beyond 18 years. Taking over the piano with astounding style and riveting skill, Alyssa possesses a rare natural talent: that of the power to silence and captivate an audience with melodies fuelled by raw emotion, and lyrics that seep into the soul from the lips of inspiration. ________________________________________________________
___________Largely self-taught, this caramel-haired, brown eyed home-schooler began playing the piano at age 3 and the guitar at age 7, developing her eclectic style while nurturing her own unique voice, vision.

Delighting in writing and performing her own pieces from onset, Alyssa has progressed in her musical abilities through constantly challenging herself with her ambitious, inspired writing. She has performed at local platforms such as high school, Bible camp and coffee houses, as well as on a state-wide level. Singing in front of as many as 1,800 people and opening for artists such as Shawn McDonald (Sparrow records) and Summer Mayne (independent).
