Althea A. Heart,.a rising star !

Beauty, determination and patience are the only words that can describe the quiet DNA makeup of Ms. Althea Ann Heart, an up and coming easygoing R & B artist whose talents stem from parents who were well known and respected in the local business and entertainment community in downtown Brooklyn, New York in the mid 1980's.

Althea's desire to become a singer and R&B performer grew as she watched her mother prepare for her nightly shows at her father's Internationally known Valhal Jazz-Pub. Her confidence grew as years passed and her hunger to perform began to emerge.

Every Saturday afternoon Ms. Heart attended professional dance classes at the prestigious Broadway Dance Center in midtown Manhattan New York City. During her time there she trained in ballet, jazz and tap dance and won several competitions. To this day Ms. Heart continues to train and practice her craft at the prestigious dance company.

In 1999, Ms. Heart tested her fashion modeling skills and performing abilities as a singer by entering the Miss New York Pageant competition and placed an impressive third runner-up. Shortly thereafter, while attending a recording session, Ms. Heart was approached by Video-Director Little-X to appear in P Diddy's "Let's Get It" video as a feature. Here is where Ms. Heart noticed the value of using videos to keep her face familiar in the industry and creating opportunities and thereby receiving selective roles in such videos as Ja-Rule's "I Cry", Ashanti's "Foolish" and R. Kelly's chart-topping single "Fiesta". Not stopping there, Ms. Heart landed the album cover for Reggae Gold 2002 and was featured in the Celebrity Issue of King Magazine in 2002

Because singing has always been the ultimate goal for Althea, in 2003 she made her professional debut as an artist by collaborating with Foxy Brown on "Cradle To The Grave" sound track. In addition she appeared with Cadillac Tah "I Gotcha Ma" which received VIBE 2003 Hot News Singles Award.

She was most recently featured in Jamie Foxx's "Unpredictable" video and Lil Jon's "Snap Your Finger's" In addition, Althea obtained a four-page spread in the 2005 spring edition of Smooth Magazine. She also has a single titled "Hip Work" that is receiving rave reviews by the Atlanta community.

Althea Ann Heart continues to make subtle, bold, and strategic moves that place her in the forefront of all aspiring show business entertainers. Her passion, perseverance and personal values will be her keys to success that will shake the entertainment world into the new-age and new-era of show business personalities.
