Almus Magnus is Daniel Florida, a writer who spent most of his adult life moving around Michigan, covering a good part of the state. Going from shitty cooking job to shitty cooking job.



A mostly autobiographical writer, albums are thematically lyrical



Daniel is currently settled in Ypsilanti, Michigan. He has played numerous music festivals, and in 2007 and 2008 was invited to give one-on-one sessions with beginning songwriters at the Ypsilanti Songwriting Festival, held annualy at the Ypsilanti District Library. Regular performances are held at the Dreamland Theater (in downtown Ypsilanti).



Almus Magnus has toured the midwest and five albums have been released under the name Almus Magnus. He is currently working on more.
