Birmingham Bar Academy - Gig Review Last but by no means least of the support tonight were Allbright. I’ve personally never heard of them before, but they definitely out-shined the other support tonight. Entering the stage to hip hop song Low by Flo Rida, they hushed the crowd and went in to their first song. You could see why they had been chosen as 3rd on the bill over the other 2 bands as soon as they started playing. Liam Price spent most of the set in the crowd or on the barrier, encouraging everyone to clap or sway their arms, and they had some catchy songs and tight harmonies. To be honest if you closed your eyes you could have been at a McFly/Busted gig, only a bit more guitar and bass. For all their McFlusted (Mc Fly and Busted) tendencies, they were a fun band with a great attitude, and really livened up the near full Bar Academy before the main act took centre stage.Lucy Pryor - Birmingham Live (www.brumlive.com) Wrexham Central Station - Gig Review Entering the stage to Rihanna, Allbright were quick to enter their energetic set and prove their worth of the headline tour. Equipped with punchy drums, snappy guitars and memorable vocals, Allbright grabbed the crowd off the first song and were not going to let them go. Allbright maintained their tight playing throughout the night with a variation of dynamic songs, they also had lots of crowd interaction and lots of stage presence. If you were to close your eyes you can hear essences of McFly in their music, and also sense some Taking Back Sunday in their vocals and harmonies. A top set though on their headline tour, I’m sure they’ll be back touring very soon. This could be the American type pop punk band that Britain has been looking for… Reviewed by Thomas Edwards.
