Honest, healing…anointed. These are the words used to describe the music and message of lead worshipper and songwriter Alison Stevens. For the past 20 years, Alison has led worship at churches, retreats and conventions, including the Tennessee Baptist WMU Annual Convention and Spirit West Coast with Bob Kilpatrick. She has been privileged over the years to share either stage or studio or to write with many talented individuals, including Helen Baylor, Mary-Kathryn, Paul Buono, Bob Kilpatrick, Dayna Varga, Drew Cline, Debi Selby, Charlie Judge, Jason Eskridge, Missi Hale, Amy Courts, Travis Meadows and Will Derryberry.and others.
Alison's definition of worship: "Worship is a way of life to me. It's not just something you 'do'. Every moment of every day is meant to reflect the glory of our Creator; this story we are in is not our own. Being ever mindful of that is my prayer everyday; the music flows from that place and is simply another way to express my worship to my God."
Alison currently resides in Nashville, TN with her husband (and producer), Rich Stevens, and their 3 children. Currently, Alison is at Franklin's School of Worship as a mentor, working with the next generation of musicians and worship leaders.
