Formed second wave Punk band, Three Minute Warning/Four Minds Crack straight from school, playing guitar and singing: Producers - Dave Parsons (Sham 69), Rab Fae Beith (The Wall, UK Subs). Then played guitar for Polydor signed band, The Wall, on their 'Day Tripper' EP + 12" album (Recorded at Crass' - Southern Studios) and gigs. Producers - Steve Jones (Sex Pistols), Pete Wilson (The Jam), Jimmy Pursey (Sham). The Wall were the first Punk band produced by an ex-Pistol, Steve Jones. Their debut single 'New Way' was heavily played by John Peel and sold up to 20,000 copies. The band toured with the likes of The Adverts, The Lurkers, Joy Division, Stiff Little Fingers, Crass, The Fall, Teardrop Explodes, Angelic Upstarts and Cockney Rejects. Both The Wall and Four Minds Crack feature in Ian Glasper's recent bestselling book about the second wave of Punk, 'Burning Britain' (Cherry Red).



Al then appeared in various bands as guitarist and session musician, while training to become a professional actor. Has since appeared in a wide variety of Theatre, TV, Films, Commercials and Voice Overs.see acting site below



Presently, guitarist for Caroline Alexander (02/Organic/Universal): Producers - Ace (Skunk Anansie), Dave Lynch (Toploader), Roger Tebbutt (Gay Dad, Rachel Stamp). Has appeared on Radio and TV, in Magazines (Melody Maker, Classic Rock, Kerrang, NME) and toured the UK extensively, venues including; The Forum, LA2 (with Girlschool), Dingwalls, Garage, Marquee, Borderline, Ronnie Scott's, The Cavern, 100 Club etc.

New Caroline Alexander single, 'Suicide Note' (produced by Ace) and album, 'Scenes from the Underground' released: "Young, talented and beautiful" - Classic Rock; "Rock Starlet" - Kerrang!; "Axe ridden tunes" - London Evening Standard.



Al has released 'From Punk to Skunk', a compilation CD on Organic Records; "Caustic and in-your-face.Nirvana meets Generation X meets the Banshees" - Classic Rock; "Full of angst and energy.Darn good" - The Mag. His second album, 'From Junk to Funk', is released later this year.

Al has continued with various other projects, including; Rip it Up (Debut album, 'Rip it Up' on Ankh Music just released: see Blogs - Al has also appeared with Rip it Up on Sky TV's recent chat show 'The Boland Show') and has collaborated with Nigel Hoyle (Gay Dad) who has also written for Caroline Alexander.



In May 2008 he appeared in 'Reality Chokes' in London; a musical play about Punk which he co-wrote with David Schaal (Glyn/Taffy in the BBC's Bafta award winning 'The Office' and the Inbetweeners).



Al appeared with The Wall in 2007 on tour, playing both guitar and bass and at the 30th anniversary 'Rebellion' Punk Festival in Blackpool's, Winter Gardens on the Arena stage.



He appeared again as Dan in the punk play 'REALITY CHOKES', co-written with David Schaal, at the Universal Arts Theatre, Edinburgh Festival, 2009. The play received some 5 star reviews and was nominated for the MTMUK Fringe award.



His debut punk/football novel 'The Wrong Outfit' has recently been published through AuthorHouse UK and the book is generating a great deal of public interest, from well known ex-punks involved in the music scene, to footballers and also music writers.
