When I was 13 I spun my first partyMy sisters Sweet SixteenWith 2 record players, each with there own sets of speakers. I faded by lowering the volume on one, and then raising it on the other. Finally at the age of 15 ,I purchaced my first set of 1200's. Before that I mixed on Belt drive turntables.When I bought my 12's I immediately tossed the belts in the trash! I Began to play neighborhood parties(jams) for free, and became friends with all the neighborhood dj's. My partner was a nasty Mixologist named "Spamp" Spamp was the best pure mixer I have ever heard and also was an edit master. He edited on a reel to reel the way original editors edited music and he was GREAT. Danny Polonco and I became partners after Spamp stopped playing, We played House music together, and Danny ended up Producing a couple of club joints Including "Music,Thoughts and Emotions" with Rob Junior.(Both are also from Canarsie, Brooklyn) "Dj Riz" was another neighborhood dj I became friends with. We shared many parties around the hood(Especially ones thrown by Patty Boy) With me and Spamp being the Freestyle mixers and him being the Rap DJ. Riz was the BEST scratcher and music master I ever seen! The things he would do with turntables were unheard of, he makes it look easy. He is a true Mixologist and a sucess in his field ( One half of The Crooklyn Clan) And a great guy who I still consider a friend.

Last but not least there is Sizzahandz. Sizzahandz and I Became friends the moment we met and we never looked back. We have lots of history together that includes music and just plain friendship. I met him in a local burger king when he was 12 years old and he burned me in a beat box battle! We have been friends ever since. He has gone on to become one of the premier party dj's in the world, His versitility makes him special because he can fit in anywhere. We played together in many clubs in the late 90's Including The Aztec in Seaside(Operated at the time by G Money) where we had Mad fun. (Even though he will never admit it.) I was proud to stand up for him, with Riz, at his wedding as co best men. He has had success as co founder of Crooklyn Clan. NICE! This is the Canarsie crew of DJ'S!! Respect, and act like u know!
