Alessandra Toni

Alessandra was born on March 5th 1986 in Milan. At the age of 4, she could already play the piano by both hands but she only started to take lessons when she was 8. She has always preferred to play new-age melodies and soundtracks, instead of classical studies. She started to compose at 11 years old. When she was 14, in addition to her piano instrumental songs, she began to write words for rock songs and to record them arranging and playing everything by herself.



Music is Alessandra's first passion, like she says: "Notes are syllables and melodies are my words". It's the best way in which she can really express her thoughts. One of her main features is to push some keys to create a long speech of different accents giving the feeling of a baroque technique and a romantic style.



"My Insights" is a record where you can find all the pianist's improvisations, in fact, most of them have been composed immediately during a few instants. Everything is surrounded by waves of emotions.
