Alaska Ratio was two-parts city cool, one-part country bumpkin, with a beard ratio of one in three, sometimes two.
They played their first show in 2006, released a self-titled debut EP in 2007, the single Dragon Red + Dragon Blue in 2008 and their debut album 333 in 2009. They were heard on local, national and international radio (including Triple J), as well as TV shows like Bondi Rescue, Fuel TV and Rescue Special Ops.
Since splitting in late 2009 the Alaskans have embarked on new musical projects.
"Alaska Ratio is destined for big things if they follow their current trajectory … a very good record from an intriguing new band"
