Alabaster Morgue is a six-piece progressive death/black metal band from Colorado Springs that has
also been called melodic death or art metal on account of the band having a wide variety of influences
ranging from classical music to bluegrass to all genres of metal.
The band was formed in 2003 by core members, guitarists Tyler Selby and Robert Steele who decided from the beginning that they wanted to start a metal band that was
anything but "typical". After some trial and error, four other dedicated individuals were found that
were also passionate about creating music that was outside the box. Timothy Ingrassia - vocals;
Chelsea Lowe - keyboards/backing vocals; Gentry Quinonez - drums; and Paul Jones - bass.
By 2005, Alabaster Morgue was playing local shows and gaining a loyal following. By 2006, they
started traveling to neighboring cities such as Denver, Aurora, Englewood, Fort Collins, and Pueblo. In
the fall of 2007, Alabaster Morgue began traveling to other states such as Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, and
Washington. In 2008, after releasing their self-titled album, they embarked on their first coast to coast
tour.

Today, Alabaster Morgue is busy preparing for the future, building a new arsenal of music and
merchandise. They are expanding on their local fan base and trying to find a label to help support them
in their attempts at another tour. Alabaster Morgue is a working band that believes that the best way to
make a career out of music is to get out and play for the public.
