I'm a vessel of source. No matter how far away I wander from my master self the source always hooks me right back up, and places me back in the waters of truth, love, & light. I used to have nightmares if I didn't go to sleep to Coltrane's "A Love Supreme". I realize now that not truly living my life through & for love was creating a living nightmare. Coltrane's music expressed the pain & joy of that realization, and so many other revelations with sincere devotion. A real love BEing he will always be. Now that I have sweet dreams, happy dreams, full of love dreams.I'm grindin to make music that will allow my fellow love beings to feel as at peace as that recording makes me feel. To remind us of who we truly are. To help usher in our God given destinies. To create heaven right here, right now. My passion to create music is inspired by the love I have for; God, Love, Light, Dance, Liberation, Smiles, Beauty, & all that is life. My goal is to be nothing but a vessel of Love that is One. My mother is my earthly hero, as well as all those who freely share their gifts. She's taught me to be a strong, independent, fearless woman under the Universe's direction & protection. Every day I am growing, and evolving. Our only real task. I'm seeing my TRUE reflection in the light, not shadows. I am sharing love, inspiring will, & compassionate understanding. I am humility, courage, and sincerity. My musical journey began when my mother placed headphones on her womb playing "The Creator Has a Master Plan", & "A Love Supreme". I began to blow life through the saxophone in the 6th grade in Atlanta, GA. I kept playing until I moved to CA in '97. I wasn't pleased with being taken away from all my ATLiens, but I found new inspiration in CA's underground music scene. I fell into the underground hip hop scene, where I wondered off into the jungle/ drum-n-bass world. I love it still. That was the birth of my desire to mc, play sax, and sing over jungle, then house, to broken beat. My greatest joy is to see people free, happy, and responding to the joy of music. Dance music can be an amazing source for liberation. Seriously needed to balance one's self in this place. After the electronic scene lost it's original beauty, I went back to my roots.jazz. I went back to school, and studied music for four years at a few colleges. I started teaching piano, and sax lessons to 4-50 year olds. That's when I realized my love is not just for music, but for sharing music. Whether it be performing, teaching, spinning, or simply continuously learning. I love to give. Every truth that I remember, I must share. Everything I earn, I'll return to source. I do not waste. I am grace. I've come to empower, & show love to all living things through the beloved ancient & sacred form.music. Reach me if you need love, sax licks, vocals, or fashion picks.
