Gli S.L.U.G.S. nascono nel 2004 dalle menti malate di Massimiliano "RuSkO" Raimondi (basso e voce) e Davide "Corpse" Marinucci (chitarra). Dopo aver provato senza successo alcuni batteristi, incontrano l'ex batterista degli Scum of Society, Andrea meglio conosciuto nell'ambiente come "Sveden". L'intesa subito perfetta e i tre iniziano a preparare alcune serate nella propria citt con il nome di "Metal Slug" (nome preso dall'omonimo videogame) proponendo una serie di cover di gruppi come S.O.D., Venom, Slayer, Motrhead, Exciter, Celtic Frost, Running Wild. Il passo successivo iniziare a scrivere brani propri e suonarli dal vivo; nel frattempo si decide di cambiare nome in un pi diretto "S.L.U.G.S.". In Ottobre 2005, dopo aver scritto un buon numero di brani propri, decidono di entrare in studio per registrare finalmente il loro primo demo. Le registrazioni durano appena tre giorni anche grazie alla bravura di Matteo Gabbianelli (Payback HC) che riesce a dare agli S.L.U.G.S. esattamente il suono che stavano cercando. Nasce cos l' "A.D. 2005" acronimo di Agro Demo 2005 (da Agro Pontino, Agro Metal, Agro Punk, Agro Grind, Agro Billy, Agro Thrash, Agro Rock e cos via :-P). A novembre, Sveden lascia la band per tornare a suonare Punk, sostiuito da Aristodemo "ThrasherDemo" De Cesaris (Damned Soul, Behind Chaos, Dogfight, Funeral Bitch, attualmente negli Tsubo) il quale porta nuove idee e nuove influenze nella composizione. Dopo un lungo periodo di standby, nell'autunno 2009 gli S.L.U.G.S. daranno alla luce il loro primo full lenght, intitolato Sons of the wicked, composto da 10 brani all'insegna del thrash/death più rozzo e diretto. In arrivo anche una serie di date Live, la prima delle quali sarà all'Init di Roma il 24 Luglio di supporto ai thrashers americani Municipal Waste e i re del grind nostrano Cripple Bastards! S.L.U.G.S. band was born in 2004 from the sick minds of Massimiliano "RuSkO" Raimondi (Bass and vocals) and Davide "Corpse" Marinucci (guitar). After a long search for a good drummer, they meet the ex-drummer of a punk band from their city (Scum Of Society), Andrea as well known as "Sveden". As the band is finally completed, they start playing some cover songs from bands such as S.O.D., Venom, Celtic Frost, Slayer, Motrhead. Next step is to write new songs and play them live; In the meanwhile the band changed his name in "S.L.U.G.S." to get a more direct monicker. In october 2005, after they composed a lot of new songs, is finally time to enter in a studio to record the first S.L.U.G.S. Demo CD. The recording sessions lasted only three days also thanks to the great ability of Matteo Gabbianelli (drummer from Payback HC) who gave S.L.U.G.S. the right sound they were looking for. So the first S.L.U.G.S. mobid creation "A.D. 2005" was born. In november Sveden left the band for artistic disagreements and Aristodemo "ThrasherDemo" De Cesaris (drummer from Damned Soul, Behind Chaos, Dogfight, Funeral Bitch, actually Tsubo) joined S.L.U.G.S. bringing new ideas and influences. From the respect of the primordial sound like "UH!" Hey hey hey! Greetings Morbid Ladies and Gentlemens, We're Fucking S.L.U.G.S. and We're born to bleach your ass! Right! ;-)
