Make no mistake about it. True raw energy and total honesty has made this band not only a show to see, but a show to feel! AOD! would set up its equipment right on the floor in the middle of the pit if they could!

Aggro or Die! gives it all every show. They don't hold back. They leave the stage sweat soaked, bruised, bloodied and ready to meet their fans! Intensity is the key to a good show and in the spirit of hardcore punkrock, AOD! holds that intensity through and through til the final chord is struck, til the final snare is popped, til the final words of vocal verocity are yelled, and til their fans are left just as spent as they. AOD! is about not only energy, but promoting positivity and having fun with songs having videogame themes and skateboarding, to songs about meeting life headfirst and tackling those things that are most important to the individual, whether you be punk, metalhead, or stoner, ska kid, emo brat, or loaner, we embrace all people from all walks of life to get into it and keep it a threat!

J Voltage and Aggro Eddie are the 2 remaining original band members of Aggro or Die! which began in the late summer of 2005. The first line up of the band consisted of Eddie, J, Matt Bruce, and Eric Crouse, and was focused on getting some fast tunes out there in the local detroit area. A lot of AOD's songs that were written back then are still played to this day, but some have been put in the closet for good. Lots of shows were played. Eric soon left and was replaced by Danny on bass. Danny jammed with the band for awhile, really taking the band to a whole new level with his style of bass. Still fast and kick ass, AOD! kept writing tunes. A 7 in. vinyl was recorded in summer 2007 and released early 2008 called "Coming Out Alive." Unfortunately, Danny left the band shortly before the record was released. Bobby Rad from The Handme Downs took over on bass, while Matt Bruce left guitar behind to focus wholly on vocals. Damien "fingers" Gorecki (I just made that up) took over for Matt's guitar duties and we turned from 4 to 5. Bobby who was still very busy with The Handme Downs was soon replaced on bass late 2008 with AOD!'s 4th bass player, Dan Bruce. Several mini tours were played and a lot more shows and after an amazing set of shows with Quarterlife Crisis across the midwest, Matt Bruce finally decided to pursue other life goals. Most bands after losing their voice decide to give up and call it quits, but AOD! is very persistent (hence the name of the band) and has been over the last few months, practicing their asses off, converting Jim from guitar to singer and teaching Bobby Rad the guitar parts.
