After. came into existence in June 2002 as a continuation of a band called Awake
The original line-up was slightly different from the present one - the first vocalist was Sylwia Wojciechowska who was replaced by Krzysiek Drogowski in September 2005.
"Endless Lunatic", the band's debut album, was recorded at ISLAND STUDIO and at Miejski Theatre in Inowroclaw with Zbyszek Florek as the sound engineer. It features guest appearances of such renowned musicians as Colin Bass (Camel), Jozef Skrzek (SBB) and Jacek Zasada (Quidam).
After. are rehearsing in Wloclawek and these days, they are working on the material for a new album.
In November 2007 After. started recording their second album entitled "Hideout". It was released in June 2008 by OSKAR label. In April 2008 group had a tour together with Galahad and played on III Art-Rock festival beside Galahad, Antimatter and Mangrove. In June 2008 during German Art-Rock Festival in Reichenbach After. appeared on stage with Pallas, Spock's Beard, Mostly Autumn and Blind Ego.
In 2009 After. played together with Quidam the tour inclusive Poland, Czech Republic, Germany and Netherlands. In the same year the band appeared on festival CRESCENDO in France and INOROCK in Poland.
In 2010 Tomek Wiśniewski left the band. As a quintet, After. started to work on the next studio album.
At the beginning of 2011 there was released the first live CD of After. entilted "Live at home". Album contains 13 tracks recorded during the gig in 2009 in Wloclawek - the hometown of band members.
New album entittled "No Attachments" was released in November 2011 by Metal Mind Productions.
