Mazi Oyo, "Mazi O." as he is known in the entertainment industry, is the Former Editor-In-Chief and Publisher of Prison Pages Newspaper, the urban entertainment publication that addressed the issues of the streets and the incarcerated population. Mazi went on to Executive Produce the spin-off show PPTV for Time Warner cable. Soon after he became the Music Editor of WBAI 99.5FM's Saturday morning show "On The Count!" Hosted by Eddie Ellis.

Missing the publishing world, in 2004 Mazi began HardBody Magazine as an internet only "publication", but his exposure to radio and his natural love for music eventually caused him to come up with HardBody Radio. The HardBody Radio Show airs during WBAI's Hip Hop TakeOver show, produced by Ife Dancy. HardBody Radio has interviewed such guests as: Lil' Ceas, Heather Hunter, Buckshot of BlackMoon, Dylan Dilinjah of MTV's "Making The Band", Maino, Guerilla Black, Daddy O., Lady Luck, Khia, D. Dot/Madd Rapper, Jaz O. and several others.

In 2005 Mazi Oyo decided to launch African Mafia Mixtapes with 9 of his brothers, to help get new music out to the masses. "The African Mafia" is affiliated with Czar Squad DJ's and has worked with several labels in promoting their artists, including: BadBoy, Def Jam, Universal Motown, Koch Records, Czar Entertainment, Virgin Records, Kedar Entertainment and Interscope, Geffen, A&M.

Inspired again to fill a void, in 2006 Mazi O. launched an entertainment company; OYO Music Group. The company which started off as an independent distribution company has expanded to include a Video Production Department. OYO Music is currently producing the highly anticipated autobiographical DVD from Dylan Dilinjah; "Back For The First Time". The project features cameo's from Lil' Wayne, Chingy, Rick Ross, Fonzworth Bentley, Slim Thug, and others.

Currently Mazi is Executive Producer for the "Industry Journal" which is a weekly Music News Program. The Industry Journal aims to keep it's audience informed about this business of radio and records, from FCC rulings to BDS and soundscan, and a few things in between.
