AFC

Me, my brother Smiley and DJ A.K. formed the group "Funk Squad" back in 1990. In -95 we won a nation wide talent search, "Zoom -95", arranged by ZTV and Stockholm records. We recorded the ep "Dedicated" + a video for the title track. Neither the ep or the video were released, but we continued our work under the name Allied Forces (AFC). In 2001 our first song ever written in swedish,"Kärleksbarn", was released on a compilation album called "Ordkrig". 2002 saw cameos from AFC on a 4e världen b-side and also on Ison&Fille's debut album. At the same time we were working the mixtape scene in Sweden and Norway making more appearances then any other Swedish act tryin' to create a buzz. In 2003 the "Laddish" ep along with a video was released by Sureshot Records. A publishing contract was signed with Alexis publishing. The year after Ramo and Smiley blew up making guest appearances on 3 hit singles: "Repa skivan" with Petter, "Plan B" with Tungtvann (N) and L.O.C. (DK), and "Upp med garden" with 4e världen and Sam-E. That year we went on tour with Petter and preparations were made for an album release. The 2006 album debut was released on our own lable,"Slangin' Records", distributed by Universal music. "Varje dag e löning" is an orthodox, hardcore rap record containing raw beats by First heat, Astma&Michel Rocwell, Filthy and Gifted. It also offers a lot of cutz by DJ Will Rock and Kid Sid. With cameos by Ison&Fille, Medina, Petter, Timbuktu, Matte, and Masayah it's already considered a classic.
