A December Truth hit the ground running in late 2007, with dynamic, catchy indie power-pop tunes and a backbreaking schedule of energetic live performances across NSW and interstate. Their professionalism, musical depth and commitment to their music, have ensured that the band have forged a lasting first impression among fans and industry groups alike.



Drawing creative influences from bands such as Jimmy Eat World and Taking Back Sunday, A December Truth’s unique sound is an intricate culmination of deep verses, catchy hook lines, and incendiary riffs and guitar solos.



In their first year A December Truth travelled across the country to perform live at over 85 shows; made up of an overwhelming majority of underage events, which illustrates the bands dedication to all age music. This touring mindset has helped build a still steadily growing, loyal following of teens and young adults throughout Australia.



2008 saw a number of line-up changes, and a shift in the bands music; an unprecedented sound, harder edged than ever before, complemented by the bands trademark poppy hooks and mellow interludes.



After a long process of over a year of writing, recording and pre production, A December Truth hit the studio in March 09 to record their much anticipated debut EP release.

"A December Truth" is currently supported by "Teenage Kicks Productions" and will be touring with the organization in 2008 - 2009.
