A Day Too Far

A Day Too Far was founded by Dean Johnson in the summer of 2004 under the pretense of getting his writing feet wet. What issued forth in the following four years was more than anyone could have ever expected from Johnson, a heavy set pop punker from northern Mass. From the word go the band was anything from normal, and has easily seen more ex-members than Destiny's Child and Allister combined. After 4 years that crossed genres and state lines, that won fans and broke hearts the band was nearly placed at a standstill when its then road tested lineup slowly but surely drifted apart, purely in a musical sense. The band as it remains today is made up of Johnson, and AD2F veteran Kimberly Bassett .



The bands sound is not changing on the whole, but will soon find its more acoustic roots and ideals on which the band was founded 4 years previous. The duo are now putting their best efforts forth to produce songs that are poppy, but not too poppy and that stay true to the things the members hold closest to them. Only time will tell if these two kids from virtually backwoods towns will be able to captivate listeners like the full band once did, but they are ready to find out.
