Adam McBride-Smith

Adam McBride-Smith grew up in Oklahoma, but has called many places home since then. His mix of dark-minded folk, old-timey shakedowns, and country and blues first appeared on record with his 2007 debut album Good and Gone. 2010 saw the release of Half Seas Over, a collaboration between McBride-Smith and pianist-composer Elan Mehler (Brownswood Recordings).
A new album of original material is currently in the final stages of production. Recorded in September, with the help of the War Eagles and other special guests, the album is set to be released in early 2012 on Wild Honey Records.
