Biography



Pianist, composer, arranger and director, is unquestionably the Cuban "Sonero"by excellence. Owner of a very personal, unmistakable, harmonic and melodic style, he won the title of "EL Caballero del Son" ("The Son Gentleman") due to the anthological innovations and contributions to this traditional and contemporary genre, which erans him the honor of being, nowadays, the most versioned Cuban sonero at the Latin musical scene over the last 30 years.



Well-known as "The Son Gentleman" and within his contributions as musician, we can highlight the fact of having permeated the Son with contemporary streams, to reinsert it from Cuba, in the Salsas atmosphere and sonority. This musical genre has ruled the international arena along the last years.
