Actress Hands, a pop group, formed in the summer of 2002 and have recorded 5 albums of 'material' up to this point of writing (winter 2007/2008).

After releasing 2 CDR albums and 2 CDR mini-albums between 2002-2005, Actress Hands signed to Life Is Easy Records last year, touring in the last 12 months or so in support of The Walkmen, British Sea Power, Dinosaur Jr, The Pipettes and The Electric Soft Parade. Summer 2007 saw the group complete their first full UK tour as joint headliners with gifted Glaswegians Le Reno Amps.

There have been released 4 Actress Hands singles thus far; 'Snack Horse' (May 2006), 'Half An Hour' (Oct 2006) and 'Why The Sale?' (split 7" with Electric Soft Parade, Nov 2006) and most recently 'Come The Summer Days' (August 2007).

Actress Hands' most recent album 'Boys Need Jazz' was released worldwide through Life Is Easy Records in September 2007. It was recorded during autumn/winter of 2006 at Truck Studio in Oxfordshire. The Actress Hands sound was lovingly exaggerated on this LP that contains 10 new songs of hard rock jangle.

Having put together their own studio out in the West Country, the group are currently writing & recording their next album - tentatively titled 'Survivor's Guilt' and will be re-releasing the 2004 album 'Why the Sale' and 2005's 'Cattle Grid' LP through their own imprint Great Stuff Records in February 2008.
