Actor Slash Model (the band) is the Chicago based acoustic duet of Simon Strikeback and Madsen Minax, together creating a captivating blend of witty lyrics, alluring harmonies, and delicious charm.
Their stage performance alone has been said to be "completely entrancing," as their connective energy and interactions are humourous, yet concise and natural - the music is clean, tight and penatrative, yet Actor Slash Model is raw, real and fun. The performers are able to blend their seemless music into a comedic act of sorts, as their songs range in content from "nontraditional" love affairs, to fake moustaches, to homoerotic cowboys, to psuedo metal hair ballads and back again.
