Try to imagine swedish melody with American vocals and you’ll come close to picturing what Act of War, metal out of Lafayette, IN, is all about. The dual guitar assault of Andrew and Kyle carry soaring melodies and crushing riffs. Neal and Nick fill out the rhythm section, laying down head-pounding rhythms, while Brian’s brutal and piercing screams drive the music. Songs like "Into the Rain" and "Defiance" capture more of the band’s brutality, while others such as "Still Breathing" and "Ritual" show that this band has the ability to play upbeat and powerful songs.
