My name is Abe, aka Active Oner, aka Actizzle, Acteez, Key 2 Tha City, Tha Mic Killamost just call me Acteez or Abe. First off, I just want to say to my wife, Kimma, my biggest critic, supporter and fan that I wouldn't have ever came this far without you, thank you baby for being with me through these struggles and hardships, and always being my source of inspiration, I LOVE YOU!! And another thank you to Sarah Groth of Central Graphics & Design for making all of the graphics for DS, we do appreciate it and you are tha bomb!!

I started out writin' at a young age, then finally after high school I logged onto WinMX to download some music, found some hip hop chat rooms, and started makin' collabs with people from all over, Australia, UK, and all over the US. After a while, I decided to grab some of the material I'd written over the years and make my own music, releasing it through WinMX and SoundClick so that people could download it. I showed some friends and they told me I should start actually pursing it because it had potential. I showed my friend Mike (now known as Whyte Mike) some of the shit I had been doin' and he wanted to spit some shit too and try his hand at the rap game. We started out just makin' a few songs to fuck around n get a feel of how we'd sound together, play some cuts at parties, etc. Down the road we joined the Hard Hittaz (2002) with Roc (now reppin' Hitta Muzic) and a couple of other cats, made a mixtape with them and eventually moved on. That's when I had the idea to bring my old graffiti crew the Mad Bombin' Crew back from the grave and resurrect it as a hip hop group (2003). Me and Whyte Mike were the first two members, along the way we picked up Cyklone and Ex Trip. We made a few tracks and people were feelin' it, but in 2004 I decided to pick up and move to Hawaii to be with Kimma (my wife) and try to straighten out my life and steer it in a new direction, make a new beginning so to say. After a couple months of being in Hawaii, a business deal that involved me, Mike and some other parties went wrong since Mike decided to fuck it all up, which brought tha heat down on me, and that's somethin' I can't ever forgive him for, so after that went down, I left MBC (beginning of 2005), convinced Cyklone to leave with me and that's when I tried to start the MKM (Mic Killin' Militia) but that didn't last too long. I made "Tha Militia Mixtape, Vol. 1: A New Beginning", which helped me to gain a little buzz around the area, since the material I made while reppin' MBC was of no use to me anymore. (I made 5 or 6 albums worth of material that I put together but never distributed since the fallout happened before I had a chance to). Down tha road, I met L-DuB and Smokin' Robs. We started kickin' it n havin' jam sessions, and after a few of those, we realized we had a sound that nobody else had, and we formed Distant Strangers in 2005. Since then, we've been rockin' n doin' our thang, while keepin' it real n stayin' ourselves. Much love to all local artists doin' they thang, keep on the grind n don't stop. And to all the fans, I appreciate all of the support you've shown throughout these years, it's been a real crazy journey thus far and it's only gonna get crazier as time goes on. Can't forget my hatas too, the fuel to the fire, that's why I spit flames suckas!!!! Check out the music n comment or send a msg on what you think.
