Motives to the meaning and reason of our band’s existence are many, we can easily say that ACFM came together due to our urge to find the extra spark which will hopefully satisfy our thirst for creating, destroying, merging, recovering and revolutionizing music.

Music is the common factor in between us all and it is due to such that we now all know that there was no reason to fear coming to an end with our former bands because the dawn of a new era rose before our eyes with an opportunity that we all desired and could not shutdown. The band line up has been made official as of the month of June 2007, we are known to most as Chino (vocals), Brujo (guitars), Chris (guitars), Guero (drums), Hairman (bass). We have U.S. citizens such as Chino and Chris, Brujo from Mexico as well as Costa Rican members such as Guero and Hairman. In other words, an extremely unique blend.

There are certain facts worthy of exposing on a conversational spotlight such as the bands we all originally come from, members from ACFM had been a part of bands such as “Consumed”, “Absinth”, “Magnicidio”, Tears of Sorrow”, “Ablaze the Embers” and “Complot”. There are really no amateurs in this band since we have all given our effort to be heard, however it is until now that the ties of friendship and chemistry seem to fit best than ever for such a project.

Rest assure that the words to be spoken of us shall last long for this is our time to display our performance in the best conditions so far within the location we all currently reside and we have waited patiently for this moment. Our satisfaction will be complete after playing for anyone who enjoys listening to emotions; the sound of anger, happiness, love, regret, loss, tragedy, drama, hate, pride and other categories of human mood reactions is what we have to offer. Everything mentioned is what we define as a part of music and this the only art that we can all understand in every aspect and still continue learning from, despite we all come from different cultures. We have found something that we probably might not be able to find anywhere else which is another family.

There are plenty of bands that we all find fascinating and admire among many things we see and learn in life and for the same reason is why we come to the need of expressing ourselves musically. The meaning of our band’s name comes from the tragic death of Suzie Marie Pena a 19 month old baby who died being used as a human shield by her own father during a gun fight standoff against the LAPD, you may be asking yourself why we involved this horrible death incident as being part of our band’s name and along with emotions as part of an answer we also supply you with the words of this baby’s mother which gives us a reason to express emotions of our own as well as hers to demonstrate how we can all understand what emotions are. Emotions can be expressed through music and by the same way is how we may transmit meaningful messages, this is our way to say we shall mourn Marie’s death just as we would for anyone else since every human deserves being remembered for who they were no matter what.

[NEWSPAPER DIRECT QUOTE]

Lopez blames the LAPD for her child's death. "The police killed my daughter. I want justice." But her anger is misdirected. Lopez can't get justice from a dead man, and if she wants to assign blame, she might look at her choice in men.
