I JUST WANNA SEND LOVE AND PRAYERS TO DRE AND HIS FAMILY, R.I.P. BROTHER, WE ALL MISS YOU.

For years I've had a bio written in the third person, trying to sound professional and edgy, writing what I know some A&R or distro company would read and think is marketable or professional.

Well fuck that.

I'm Acid Reign because I fell in love with LSD trips when I picked up one day with some of my boys and moved to Florida years ago. I make music because I love it, not because it's gonna make me rich or famous. My kid is my ambition and inspiration, not to be some radio friendly trend, but to show him how to do something you love and be real with it. Music is my therapy.

I've helped run and been on a few no budget indie labels and I will probably never work with an indie label again because of most eMCees lack of passion and drive to make music for the music and not to be cool. I have an album that's finished, but I'm not going to put it out until I can pay for it myself, and then I'll probably give most of the copies away to spread my music instead of worrying about a nickel and dime profit margin.

I work in TV and film and although I love it and look at it as my future, music will always be my soul.

I'll do any drug you lay in front of me because I like trying and mixing anything and I like feeling different than I normally feel. I've had a lot of people who I thought were friends over the years, but as most people find out you only have friends when your life is easy or when it benefits them. I pride myself on loyalty and would stick by my people no matter how bad the odds were and how bad I might get hurt. I would never snitch even on my worst enemies and I despise people who call or threaten to call the cops over bullshit. I've moved all over the place since I was 20 and have found that wherever you go people are always trying to get away from where they're from or are stuck there, I'm always trying to get away and find something new. I've been homeless and starved and appreciate everything that most people take for granted, like having a pillow to sleep on every night. I've been in a lot of fights in my life, but not that many since my kid was born, so I try to avoid beef but will not sacrifice my pride or loyalty and will stand up if it comes to blows even if I know I'll lose. I think that the biggest problem in all of our lives comes from our egos and we need to understand that the voice of "reason" in our head isn't always looking out for what we want. I love anything artistic and creative no matter what the medium is. I'm going to stop here because I could go on for a long time. I strive to be myself even if it is unacceptable to others and I hope you do the same. Because in the end we will be remembered more for being ourselves, not just another face in the crowd.
